• We started picture books.
• We reviewed the social studies sheets.
• We read The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. Edward was given to a girl who died. Her brother ran away with Edward. Edward knows what love is.
• We read Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. The rats are helping move Mrs. Frisby’s house.
• We had Sloppy Joe sandwichs’.
• Jady blogged which is my job.
• We were given our Friday folders and we figured out our math, spelling, and reading grades.
• Some of the kids got last years aims scores.
• We audited our social studies sheets.

Candlelight Dinner

We have scheduled our Candlelight Dinner for Tuesday, December 16th. Please write this important date on your calendars. A mom knows a caterer and has volunteered to coordinate the room set up and the food. This is an MAI tradition, “Abe and Cheerleader” and all.

Training For Middle School – Step By Step

The long summer is over. We are back to work getting ready for the challenges at Cross and Wilson. That starts with using our planners. Last week thirteen students had all their assignments completed and turned in on time. This week that number has increased to seventeen students. We are working with the other students to get that number to one hundred percent. … and I have miles to go before I sleep.
