Monday Night MAI Social at Peter Piper Pizza

It’s hard to believe the summer break is almost over and it’s time for school to begin! This means it’s time for the Monday Night MAI Social at Peter Piper Pizza on Monday, August 4, anytime from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. There will be plenty of room for the kids to play and the parents and Mr. Floore to sit and visit.

In order for them to set aside seats for us, I need an approximate head count so please send me an email by Sunday with the number of people that will be attending.

I was able to set this up as a fund-raiser so they will have a cash register designated for Mr. Floore’s MAI class and/or you may need to sign your family’s name on a list of people attending. This allows Mr. Floore’s class to receive a percentage of the sales from us. Also, since we are doing this on a Monday night, PPP always has Kid’s Night on Mondays—allowing each child to receive a personal sized pizza and there will be a table set up for making a craft.

DATE:         Monday, August 4, 2008

TIME:         any time from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

WHERE:      Peter Piper Pizza

7620 N. Oracle Rd. (at Oracle & Magee near the Sprouts)

Hope to see you there!

“Meet the Teacher” is August 6, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. for students and parents.

This is an opportunity to find the classroom, meet the teacher, bring supplies, see friends and get settled for the first day of school. You will be able to set up a family account for school lunches in the Hawk Café, check bus schedules and sign up for any volunteer opportunities.

New Students, Welcome Additions

August 3, 2008 · Leave a Comment

We might have had a fifth grade girl move ( I need to verify it with the office ) –  but we added a fifth grade girl, 3 fourth grade girls, and a fourth grade boy, all new to our school. We might have another boy coming Monday and we would still like another girl. Our class is now ar 24 and we are getting closer to an equal number of boys and girls at each grade level. Have a nice day.

Good night Dickens.
